Financial crisis

I got some insight into it today from my younger son (4).  I'm in the kitchen cooking, he's in the living room with his babysitter (whose name is ironically "spongebob").

He hollers to me:  "Hey mom, a snuggie is only $95 dollars!"
Me:  "$95 dollars is a lot of money!"
Him:  "No, if it was $96 THEN it would be bad."

I'm sending this information to the Treasury first thing in the a.m.

P.S. A snuggie is actually $19.95 but c'mon he's only 4.

  1. Oddly, my ten-year-old *needs* one of these. Because it is so different from a blanket. Or a robe. They really know how to market this item, don't they?

  2. I know! And they look ridiculous. My favorite part of the ads is the shot at the "big game" with the people rooting on their favorite team. How awesome would it be to actually see someone in public wearing one and get to use the term "nice snuggie!"

  3. Just saw the snuggie commercial for the first time. Is it me or do the people look like Jedi Knights ready to meet w/ Yoda? -Ryan
